Northern Illinois Cat Clinic - Meet Our Staff

Bryan Schmidt : Hospital ManagerBryan Schmidt: Hospital Manager - Joined our team – At Birth

Coming from a pair of veterinarian parents, animal love and care was bred into him. When you discuss developing radiographs as a twelve year old, experience is an understatement. Striving to keep the best staff, provide the best medicine, and emanate customer service he keeps a busy schedule. If you need anything at all ask for Bryan.

Jennifer Barrett: Head TechnicianJennifer Barrett: Head Technician - Joined our team - 5/1/03

If you happen to drive by our hospital before dawn it would not be uncommon to see Jenny’s car in the parking lot. Determined and driven she will not accept less than the best for your cat. Over the years she has developed a relationship with the majority of our patients. She knows their names, what they eat, their favorite toys, even what their stool samples look like as she has examined most of them.

Jose Trinidad Garcia : Office managerJose Trinidad Garcia: Office Manager - Joined our team – 10/4/2005

If you call he will answer. Need a prescription filled, a question answered, appointment rescheduled, or a nice hot cup of java when you come in? Jose is your man. Jose has been known to rescue kittens and bottle feed them like mom would. His most recent rescue? A little orphan found cold and alone behind our hospital. He really has a soft touch when it comes to you and your cat.

Ana Estrada : TechnicianAna Estrada: Technician - Joined our team - 3/6/07

Her compassion for cats and uplifting attitude for us humans have to be her best attributes. Versed in anesthesia, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and radiology you can be assured your kitty is in capable hands. The most kind and gentle care come in to play as she whispers sweet nothings into your kitty’s ear to make them comfortable during procedures. If you come in feeling a little down she will be glad to give you some of her positive energy.

Amanda Caldron : Office Staff /TechnicianAmanda Caldron: Office Staff /Technician - Joined our team – 12/1/06

Amanda is the most multi-functional of our team. She greets you at the door, calls to schedule your next appointment, answers the phone when you call us, coordinates your cat’s visit while here and cradles your cat during the procedure being performed. Amanda loves animals of all kinds and trains dogs in her spare time (mainly to respect cats appropriately).

Erika Reyes : Technician Erika Reyes: Technician - Joined our team – 7/7/07
